Wild Weather puts Programmed’s VSBA Team to the Test

The aftermath of the Melbourne’s storms

Well done to the Programmed team and our vendor partners for the fantastic work they have been doing on behalf of the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA).

Breaking Records

Programmed attended a record number of call-outs last week when strong winds and heavy rain hit Melbourne, impacting many of VSBA’s educational sites.

The team worked alongside our vendor partners to attend 317 service requests that came in over a short period, including flooding, overflowing septic’s and leaks.

Damage Control

Predominantly most of the damage was caused by fallen branches and, in areas hit hardest by the storm, enormous trees. Our team worked throughout the weekend, clearing debris, removing trees and fixing many fences, to ensure a safe return for students and staff.

Congratulations to all involved and again, a big thank you to our vendor partners:

  • Cab Plumbing
  • A Grade Maintenance
  • Total Construction Maintenance Services
  • Insuraplex
  • AR Construction
  • Symmetry
  • AEI Electrical
  • Arborcraft

We know your hard work is appreciated and the schools are grateful that their facilities were up and running again in time for the students to return this week.
